I am having difficulting getting wcf web working over http hosted inside iis7/mvc website.

The resource works as expected under http but in ssl calls to the resource gives:

The protocol 'https' is not supported.

I guess  I am missing the channel binding for ssl? HELP!

If i try and run the sample Contact app under https I get the following error when executing a view as xml.

The provided URI scheme 'https' is invalid; expected 'http'.
Parameter name: context.ListenUriBaseAddress

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.ArgumentException: The provided URI scheme 'https' is invalid; expected 'http'.

+1

I am also very interested in getting bits that work over SSL, preferably in MVC 3.

I'll add my name here too, I was really excited about the drop today with there being 4 months without any code.  If the code was released throughout I could have at least known that the self hosting on https was still not working with the latest version.  I must admit I was kinda hopefull because it was one of the more popular issues.  Regardless I think you all have put in a lot of great work and I will try other methods to get around the issue like ARR or some kind of proxy.  Thank you for all of your hard work and congratulations on a big release.

Thank you very much,

I was feeling bad about my comment and hoping it didn't come off as complaining.  I really appreciate the great work you have done and am looking forward to developing with this library.  The release timing for me was perfect with the start of development.
